Well today is another blog day and for all those who are actually reading this good morning, evening, or night. Where ever you are from. You're probably wondering what the new topic on the plate is today. Hopefully it doesn't bore you to death but here it goes. The question of the day was "Is Amazon becoming too powerful?". I think we can all agree on one thing already, Amazon is already a powerful company. So we aren't trying to determine whether powerful or not, but whether the power they do have is restricting other business and may even be damaging other businesses because of their great amount of customers. It definitively is true that Amazon is stepping up their game no doubt about that one, however they are not the most powerful website/retailer. It's going to take a little bit more time and more inventiveness to reach the echelons of apple. Here is what I know, since I am all about the facts. Amazon is currently ranked 4th in the world right behind Apple, Google, and Berkshire Hathaway. I believe that Amazon is not becoming to powerful because they are not considered the leader. Unfortunately for Amazon it's going to take a lot more work then shocking Wall Street by posting a profit during the third quarter. They have to remain up there and whether they can hold this grip for the next quarter is very significant. I personally don't believe they can achieve this because the 3 other companies ahead of Amazon are bound to create something new that can make a huge profit. Therefore Amazon hasn't reached a level where they can't be competed with considering 3 other companies are still leading.
